Temperatures may dip into the mid to upper 40s across the Shenandoah Valley tonight. Further east across the suburbs of Washington, temperatures will drop into the lower to middle 50s. Tropics are Heating Up, Watching Invest 92L as it may become Tropical Storm Claudette
The latest ensemble forecast models (image below courtesy sfwmd.gov) indicate that Invest 92L will continue to move northward toward the Gulf coast of the United States this weekend, potentially strengthening into a tropical storm. It’s eventual impacts on the Mid-Atlantic (if any) are uncertain this far out. Stay tuned.
