Tropical Storm Bertha
T.S. Bertha formed earlier this morning, quickly making landfall in South Carolina. The latest North American Model (image below courtesy Tropical Tidbits) shows the heavy rainfall remaining well south and west of the DC Region as the storm moves into West Virginia and weakens.
Humidity will be noticeably higher on Thursday with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely during the afternoon. The good news is that coverage of showers and storms should remain scattered according to the latest high-resolution forecast models.
