The October Chill is on tonight as high pressure builds in with prime conditions for radiation cooling. If you live in a sheltered valley west of Skyline Drive, you’re likely going to wake up with frost with temperatures in the lower to middle 30s.
Temperatures will tank into the upper 30s across our northwestern suburbs of Frederick, Loudoun, upper Montgomery, and northern Prince William counties.
Downtown Washington will experience the coldest night of the Autumn season thus far with temperatures dropping into the lower to middle 40s.
The spectacular Autumn weather will continue this week with highs mainly in the middle 60s and lows dipping into the mid to upper 40s! Enjoy the sunshine!
