From Drought to Deluge… Some Models Show up to 7″ of Rain falling across our Region!

Image above courtesy (NOAA) shows upwards of 5 to 7″ of rainfall possible across the Washington Region through Friday morning!

Here’s the latest North American Model showing heavy thunderstorms producing torrential rainfall Wednesday evening through the overnight hours on Thursday with another wave of thunderstorms impacting our area on Thursday through Friday!

Here’s the same model (NAM) showing potential rainfall accumulations of 3 to 6″!

GFS Ensemble:  Currently shows a widespread 3 to 5″
