Enhanced Risk of Severe Thunderstorms Sunday

The Storm Prediction Center has placed the Mid-Atlantic under an *Enhanced Risk* of Severe Thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon & Evening: Large hail, damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph, and isolated tornadoes are possible.

An area of high pressure will build in behind the cold front on Monday providing bright sunny skies, low humidity and a northwest breeze out of Canada.

  2. Tomorrow is one of those days where sunshine would actually be a problem, as already moist air coupled with sunshine would deffinetely raise the tornado threat
