Threat of Heavy Rain Increases Sunday Afternoon & Evening

Sunday:  Numerous showers and thunderstorms are likely Sunday afternoon with upwards of 1 to 2″ (locally 3″) possible in locations that receive the heaviest thunderstorms.

Memorial Day:  Expect some sunshine followed by less numerous scattered thunderstorms during the afternoon.

Looking Ahead:

It appears likely now that we are heading into another wet work week with ample chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms as the leftovers of the tropical depression (or Tropical Storm Bonnie if it develops) gets rung out across the Mid-Atlantic while a cold front slowly approaches from the west.

Expand the rainfall potential through Saturday June 4th: Some locations in our Region could pick up between 2 and 4 inches of rain.
