Arctic Blast on Saturday will be Coldest of the Week… what about Snow?

Tuesday morning will feature wind chills in the teens and twenties with high temperatures only reaching the upper 40s under sunny skies.

A second shot of arctic air will blast into the Mid-Atlantic and New England on Saturday ushering in even colder air.  Temperatures on Saturday will struggle to reach 40 degrees, especially if cloud cover dominates.  Several models indicate a disturbance or clipper may touch off snow showers across our region on Saturday!

This is TERRIBLE. I wouldn’t be surprised if the growing season completely ended again. This is crazy for this time of year! No more freeze warnings after tonight. So if you have plants I’d suggest bringing them in now and keeping them in. As far as the snow, I’ve never seen April snow so it would be rather interesting!
