Lows will dip below zero for many locations with snow pack on the ground with high temperatures holding in the single digits from Boston to possibly as far south as Baltimore!  Here in the Washington Area lows will likely dip into the lower to mid single digits with high temperatures holding in the lower to middle teens! Our average low in mid February is in the upper 20s and our average high is right around 45 degrees.

There are several chances for snow showers over the next several days:  Thursday afternoon and again overnight Saturday & Sunday.

We are getting freezing rain right now where I am.

I was kind of surprised with the 18Z GFS showing a storm redeveloping around Cape Hatteras on Thursday. Makes me wonder if it might be more than snow showers, even if the model precip printout is pathetic. Especially east of DC.

Two unusually powerful upper troughs back to back. We will probably get at least a little snow from them. It looks like Boston is going to get absolutely pounded again.
