This will be the largest snowfall for downtown Washington since February of 2010.
The heaviest snow will fall from Noon through 6PM with snow tapering off late this evening and flurries lingering through midnight.
A Bulls-Eye of snow totals between 10 and 12″ is possible from northern Fauquier county to northern Baltimore with most locations picking up 6 to 10″!
Winds will pick up this afternoon 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph!
Widespread blowing snow will cause snow to drift well over two feet in open areas (yes school may be out the entire week!).
Lows tonight will drop into the lower single digits with wind chills of 10 to 15 below!
